My gf son has a X8 Pro scooter and couple days ago he expressed that it would not power on at all and the Charger light stays green. Of course he said it just happened but the scooter was laid over on the bar end when I went out so kinda wondering if he didn't get mad cause he was told not to ride and slammed it down. I did notice the tail light had been broke off as well and the wires possibly could have been touching each other.
*** WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I HIT DISPLAY ON/OFF SWITCH ***
WHEN PUSHING THE SWITCH NOTHING HAPPENS EXCEPT ONE TURN SIGNAL FLASHES ONE TIME VERY DIM THIUGH
WHAT I HAVE DONE
I TESTED THE CHARGER WHICH HAD THE RECOMMENDED 42V
I CHECKED THE WIRING HARNESS BEHIND THE CHARGING PLUG AND IT HAD THE SAME 42V
I CHECKED THE BATTERY AND HAD A READING OF 38V
I MADE SUREBTHE LED DISPLAY CONNECTOR UNDER THE BARS WAS STILL CONNECTED
POPPED THE LED DISPLAY COVER OFF TO INSPECT THE WIRES AND THERE IS A 2 PRONG CONNECTOR UNPLUGGED BUT IBAM NOT ABLE TO SEE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIRING SO ASSUMING IT MAYBE FOR DIAGNOSTIC
CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THE BRAKE SAFETY SWITCH WAS ENGAGING ( DID NOTICE THE WIRING WAS FLATTENED UNDER THE CLAMP TO THE DISPLAY BUT DOESNT LOOK TO BE BROKE
REMOVED BOTH TURN SIGNAL TO CHECK CONNECTIONS, AGAIN ONE TURN SIGNAL HAD BOTH WIRES MASHED FLAT BUT THE HEAT SHRINK WAS NOT BROKE.
CHECK THE BLUE, YELLOW, AND BLACK WIRES I ON THE LOW VOLTAGE CONTROLLER FOR SHORT CIRCUIT
The scooter has no fuse that I can see
Have not tested the other wiring on the voltage controller or up at the display as I am unable to locate the information I need to do so
Any help would be greatly appreciated
